1930s-60’s
Jazz of the vintage areas, 1940's & 50's, is a huge passion of mine, with my musical hero being Ella Fitzgerald. I sing a lot of her back catalogue, as not only do her songs sit nicely in my vocal range but they are recognisable to most people (jazz lovers or not).
She covered a lot of the most famous jazz hits that were also made famous by stars such as Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.
Jazz has the ability to cast a wonderful nostalgic hold over it’s listener, creating a calming and welcoming atmosphere. When performed sympathetically, Jazz can provide the perfect ambiance at any event.
Having said that…
1970’s-2000’s and beyond!
Although I specialise in the vintage jazz eras and sport the look too! I do also perform Jazz covers of modern pop songs from the likes of Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, Madonna, Radio Head, Elton John, Michael Jackson and No Doubt… just to name a few!
To sing such familiar pop songs in a way completely unexpected, offers a real surprise for my audience, making my performance a little more relevant, whilst still delivering nostalgic music.
So when you book me for your event, I can perform Jazz standards and hits from the older vintage eras or modern pop song in a Jazz style.. or a mixture of both! Making my Jazz performances adaptable for any type of event.

What I feel makes me different is I always perform fully dressed in vintage from head to toe. For me my appearance is just as important as my performance. If you are transporting your audience back in time to an era of romance, nostalgia and escapism you need to create that all immersive experience... and that is exactly what you get with my many shows. Plus I am a professional singer trained in Musical Theatre with five years experience in the industry. So professionalism, perfection and performing to the highest quality is incredibly important to me.
